My Approach to Coaching

The performing arts industry has the potential to be detrimental to one's confidence and self-worth, especially for young performers. That's why it is essential to develop good, healthy, habits in regards to self-love and confidence. As I coach performers in honing and developing their skills, I also make it a priority to:

build a growth mindset (it's okay to not know something; you will always be learning!)
focus on positivity and self-worth (make sure that you take time for yourself and develop healthy habits!)
increase confidence (never forget that you are unique and no one else is like you!)

In this industry, it is paramount to note that casting is a puzzle. Not booking a job doesn't mean that you have a bad puzzle piece, it just means that your puzzle piece is perfect for a different puzzle: you just have to find it!
